I believe passionately that connectivity drives ideas, opportunities and growth. It’s exciting and challenging to help build a local forum that is genuinely meaningful for designers.

I know that design helps businesses grow. Being here with local designers to create a better profile and a stronger community is good for the whole region.

Being part of WEDF is fun, it helps my work on The Design Programme and I enjoy helping to create something useful that drives business understanding of design. 

Why did I join the West of England Design Forum? For Inspiration. Education. Meeting old friends. Making new ones. And promoting the power of design.

Got involved with WEDF as I'd gone to loads of events and enjoyed the sense of community and learning with other designers. Wanted to help! 

It is a real pleasure to be involved with a bunch of genuinely refreshing, talented individuals. I get to pursue my love of shooting things (with a lens!) and help spread the importance of design. 

As Alan Fletcher said 'design is not a job it is a way of life.' The forum enables us to bring together like-minded enthusiastic design lifers.

Why I believe in WEDF:  Bristol & Bath is bursting with talented designers and it’s important that we have somewhere to meet, have a beer, and be inspired. WEDF makes that happen, simple. 

Our local designers make the West of England an interesting place to be and it’s really exciting to be part of something that inspires and nurtures creativity, whilst also providing opportunities to grow business and develop skills. 

Being part of a community that has design at its heart is exciting. The WEDF provides the opportunity for designers across the region to be inspired in ways no one else does.

WEDF gets me out from behind my Mac; to be stimulated, challenged and connected with the local creative community. It expands the vision for my business.
