Aims
To promote and support the design industry in the West of England sub-region to ensure its continued growth and development in the future.
Objectives
To provide a network for designers and other related professionals: employers, employees, self-employed, students
1. To act as a focal point for design information to members and the wider community
2. To engage and liaise with other bodies for the benefit of members
3. To educate formally or through informal sharing
4. To provide a proactive voice for the design industry
5. To link the sub-region with regional, national and international initiatives and organisations
Membership and administration
- The Forum has free membership for those who wish to join, to be reviewed after the first year of operation (start date 1 March 2006)
- The Forum has two officers, a Chair and Vice-chair, supported by a working group of members. The officers are elected annually from the membership of the Forum
- The Forum is administered by its officers
Affiliations
- The Forum is non-profit making and is independent of political affiliations and trade associations.
