"As you will see from my Curriculum Vitae I have recently completed an A-Level in Art/Design and Photography at Hanham High Sixth Form College. I have undergone work placement at two local companies - The Real Adventure, an Advertising Company situated in Bath and most recently, at Flourish, a Direct Marketing Company, situated in Bristol.During my placements I gained valuable experience, in particular, working on a brief which involved freehand drawing which then had to be transferred onto the Mac. Both experiences were thoroughly enjoyable and helped to confirm my choice of career within design.I am hard working and ambitious and I thoroughly enjoy working with people and as part of a team. MA Design: Interaction Design at Bath Spa University,
Bath School of Art and Design, Sion Hill, Lansdown, Bath.

This unique course celebrates multimedia as a unifying digital medium and welcomes applications from creative and enterprising graduates from a wide range of backgrounds. Fusing object spaces, imagery and sound, underpinned with contemporary theory, the course raises awareness and encourages debate of the cultural and theoretical issues of the discipline.

From visual design to technical implementation, you will learn to think creatively and strategically, not simply in reaction to a corporate imperative, but as a human response to an evolving and highly versatile medium, with an increasingly important impact on modern culture.

Based on contemporary thinking in Interaction Design, core modules cover a range of topics such as tangible computing, interactive narrative, collaboration and social networking, and research methodologies.

The course may appeal to wide variety of individuals seeking to extend or enhance their skills and knowledge as there are a number of options for the course.

Full time over one year with the option to apply for a fellowship award which would cover the majority of the fees.

Part time over two years which, if you are able to obtain funding via your employer, could attract 50% funding toward the fees. This may be an especially attractive option to those wishing to remain in employment but develop their skills since it requires only one day a week during term time. Download PDF for more info
