RSSDESIGN FORUM SIGNS UP TO DESIGN ALLIANCE
South West Desgin Forum has joined the Design Alliance. Over 20 design organisations and regional networks are now partners in the Alliance, committing to collaborate and promote the Good Design Practice campaign.

SUMMIT HAILED A GREAT SUCCESS
The South West Design Forum summit was held on Thursday 18th March at the St. Mellion International Resort in Cornwall. The event saw the launch of several ground breaking initiatives, updates on current projects, and there were some inspiring sessions from John McFaul from McFaul studio and Sam Hecht from Industrial Facility. Highlights will be web streamed here shortly.

Design Buddy is one to one mentoring for students in the South West and we're looking for Designers with first-hand experience and knowledge to take part in this ground breaking initiative which is being run in partnership with Universities South West, the National Council for Graduate Entrepreneurship. Enrol now and help inspire a talented student in the time it takes to have your lunch.

Supported by Arts Council England, Business Link Peninsula, Design Council, Silverstream, South West Design Programme, South West RDA, South West Screen, University College Falmouth and the University of Plymouth the summit will be taking place on Thursday 18th March at the St. Mellion International Resort, Nr. Saltash, Cornwall. Keynote speakers are John McFaul, a leading light in contemporary art & design, a founding member and Director of the South Coast Design Forum and partner at Big Daddy; and Sam Hecht an industrial designer and founder of Industrial Facility, with clients such as Muji, Yamaha, Epson and Whirlpool
